2nd Grade - We learned today that the word Dimensions means measurement in length, width, and thickness. Our investigator, William Howard Taft, was the largest President. A Stories With Holes problem was the warm up activity. Time ran out before we solved the problem.
4th Grade - This class learned that Unflappable means someone who has a lot of self-control and is not easily upset or frightened. Martha Graham, today's investigator, was considered by President Ford to be a national treasure because of her dance style. It took a while but students were able to solve the Stories with Holes problem for the warm up activity. To understand the difficulty of studying space, students completed an experiment with three small candy bars. The final activity was to spend time working online with computer programming lessons.
Welcome to Washington Irving's Enrichment blog. This blog was designed to keep parents updated as to the activities of students participating in the program.
