5th Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Modicum which means a moderate amount. The thinker was Conrad Hubert who got the idea of the "hand torch" (flashlight) from a friend's idea of a flower pot that would light up. Students brainstormed three different topics for the warm up activity. Dealing with dilemmas was the focus of the social/emotional lesson. The rest of class time was spent working on the Exploravision project.
