5th Grade - These students learned that Sequester means to remove and hold in isolation. For the warm up activity, students had to find as many three or more words as they could in five minutes with the letters from the word Aerodynamics. Their forward thinker was George Washington Carver who had a secret garden as a young child. The leadership lesson had students looking at the qualities of people they know and leaders around the world that they can/could use as role models in leadership. The rest of our class time was spent finishing uncompleted projects about aviation.
