3rd Grade - These students quickly solve a Dropquotes puzzle for their warm up activity. Students then completed some logic puzzles using manipulatives instead of the usual X or O elimination grids.
4th Grade - After solving their Dropquotes puzzle students considered the resources available in the region they would want to build their house. Would there be enough resources for them to survive? They then had to consider any concerns they might have living in that region. Finally, they had to reflect on the pros and cons of living in that particular region of the United States.
