3rd Grade - Today's learning started with a What In The World puzzle. Students were given close up views of eight items and a clue. Then had to determine the identity of each item. In Crystal Pond Woods, groups were given three sheets of 9x12" construction paper and approximately 40 inches of tape and had to build a structure that would hold a set of encyclopedias. The final activity was to spend more time on their road trip project. Today they identified 10 items they would put into a suitcase, identify what they would spend with $100 for the trip, and figure how expensive their trip would be.
