2nd Grade - This group was working on their Thanksgiving rotations with the rest of 2nd Grade.
3rd Grade - Class canceled due to the short week.
4th Grade - Today, students learned the word Sullen means someone who is sulky or quietly in a bad mood. The investigator for today, Mary Cassatt, became a famous impressionist painter in spite of the fact that she was a woman. Students continued to develop their creativity and following direction skills for the warm up activity as the drew a Surprise in the Middle picture. The affective lesson focused on choices, lifestyle, responsibilities and time. During the afternoon, students worked as teams to complete a See, Run, Do poster. This project helped lay the foundation for building the annual robots that will be exchanged with another school in our district.
