2nd Grade - Last week students learned how to set goals they wanted to accomplish. This week they worked out the steps necessary to reach those goals. They then read a story together and completed pictures to go with the story from Tangrams.
4th Grade - The vocabulary word for this group today was Benevolent which means kind and caring. Jimmy Carter, today's investigator and 39th President of the United States, helped bring about peace in the Middle East. These students solved the "What in the World" puzzles for the warm up activity. The focus of today's affective lesson was how confidence and insecurities affect performance. Students tried to use a formula to figure out the conversion of watts to amps or volts. We will work on this project some more next week. The final activity was to finish creating their Munracks.
