4th Grade - Our learning began with the vocabulary word Aversion which means a strong dislike toward something. The thinker was I.M. Pei who designed several award winning buildings despite the struggles that accompanied some of his designs. Students worked together to solve a logic elimination grid puzzle for the warm up activity. Pet peeves was the focus of the affective lesson. Students need to understand some of their behaviors drive friends away. The morning class completed a See, Run, Do poster to help them think about the robots they will soon be building as a group. The afternoon class was cut short due to some scheduling changes and so they worked on their planet explorations assignment.
