4th Grade - The vocabulary work for this group was Confound which means to confuse or mix someone up. Their successful person was Bill Cosby who struggled as a student, but later earned a doctorate degree in education. For our warm up activity, students viewed a news video and discussed what types of questions they should consider when viewing a segment of a real situation. Together students developed a Class Code of Conduct or class pledge of rules that they will follow while attending GATE this year. Each person then took a personality test called "True Colors" and then a multiple intelligence test in order for me to get to know them better.
