2nd Grade - The vocabulary work for this group was Change which means to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alond. Their successful person was George Washington who was the first President of the United States under the Articles of Confederation, but John Hanson was actually the very first President. For our warm up activity, students solved a few Brain Teasers. Together students developed a Class Code of Conduct or class pledge of rules that they will follow while attending GATE this year. Each person then took a personality test called "True Colors" and then a multiple intelligence test in order for me to get to know them better.
