3rd Grade - The forward thinker today was Susan B. Anthony who was a champion for civil rights during the 1800s. For the warm up activity students chose two aviation story starters to finish. We also worked together to solve a dropquote. In Crystal Pond Woods, students learned another form of brainstorming called webbing. We took time to reflect on our Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade entries. The final lesson was a quick review of simple machines. Next week students will have an opportunity to experiment with each form of simple machines.
