2nd Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Robust. A person who is robust feels healthy and strong. Our explorer was Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Abraham Lincoln as President. It wasn't until he was married that Mr. Johnson learned to read, write and do sums. We tried a Strimko puzzle for the first time today and succeeded in solving the puzzle.

5th Grade - The vocabulary word for today was Fetch which means to go after and bring back; to get as in a price. Today's explorer, Samuel Morse (the inventor of Morse Code), was really a famous artist who struggled financially. These students quickly solved the new Strimko puzzle. Our philosophy question centered around cause and effect. The Exploration lesson had students focusing on columns and Towers.
