2nd Grade - Our trip to Crystal Pond Woods found students deciphering coded puzzles and developing their own. When they finished, students were given some of Max's dominoes and had to match shapes instead of dots.
4th Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Hoax which means a practical joke; something intended to deceive. The explorer was General Robert E. Lee who led the Confederate armies during the Civil War. Students completed a Quotation Quizzler for the warm-up activity. Students book trailers for "Be a Perfect Person in Three Days". A discussion followed about our expectations for ourselves. Our final activity was to research and discuss hunger in America.
Welcome to Washington Irving's Enrichment blog. This blog was designed to keep parents updated as to the activities of students participating in the program.
