2nd Grade - These students had the opportunity to see the K-2 talent show for those students who didn't qualify for the all school talent show next week.
4th Grade - The vocabulary word for the day was Robust which means a person who feels healthy and strong. Robert E. Lee was the thinker. General Lee's challenge was the decision he had to make between leading the Union troops or the Confederate troops during the Civil War. Students completed a Surprise in the Middle drawing for the warm up activity. After lunch students designed and built a bridge that would stretch across a two foot span and hold the most weight in pennies. We also had a little celebration to celebrate the last GATE class for this year.
Welcome to Washington Irving's Enrichment blog. This blog was designed to keep parents updated as to the activities of students participating in the program.
