4th Grade - Today we learned that Confound means to confuse or mix someone up. The successful person was Bill Cosby who grew up poor but became a famous actor, author and humanitarian. Students successfully solved the Stories with Holes problem for the warm up activity. In order to learn a little more about ourselves, each student was given the True Colors inventory to discover their personalities. Our theme this year is, "Open the GATE to Success." In order to do that, there will need to be some exploring taking place. A pre-assessment was given to determine what students know about Explorations before we begin studying the topic. For the rest of our class time, we worked with Tangrams and completed a Reader's Theatre story.
