3rd Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Trenchant which means incisive, forceful. Abraham Lincoln, today's investigator, went into the army as a captain and came out as a private. These students completed a Loosen Up balloon drawing for the warm-up activity. They created their own newspapers for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Their final activity was a review of the seasons and how they are created.
5th Grade - Steppes, a vast semiarid grass-covered plain, usually lightly wooded, was today's vocabulary word. Today's investigator was Andre Garnerin, the inventor of the parachute. These students also completed the Loosen Up balloon drawing for the warm-up activity. Students completed projects on biomes as well as anything left on Lewis and Clark.
Next week will be the last week of Enrichment classes for this school year. Please have your child/ren research and bring a snack for everyone in their Enrichment class.
