Due to Mad Scientist Day on Friday, all of the 4th graders had Enrichment today.
Their learning started with the vocabulary word: Predilection which means a preference for something. The explorer was George Washington who told people that wanted to make him king "no" because he felt the United States needed a different/better government. Students solved the Plexer (word) puzzles for the warm up activity. The affective lesson is having students breakdown a successful project they completed in order to help with future projects. Time was spent developing a presentation about E.coli. Students then gained an understanding about listening to directions without pictures because when they build their robots, there won't be any pictures. The final activity was to create a brochure for the Munracks of Veltzar.
Welcome to Washington Irving's Enrichment blog. This blog was designed to keep parents updated as to the activities of students participating in the program.
