2nd Grade - Students were enrolled into the GoQuest program. This is a program Mrs. Rains is piloting this year that provides students with more individualized enrichment activities.
4th Grade - This group learned that Instill means to put a feeling or idea into someone's mind slowly. The investigators for this class were Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan. As a result of Anne Sullivan's patience and instruction, Helen Keller learned to communicate. Helen Keller traveled around the world speaking and enlightening people's minds to the potential of handicapped people. These students also had to solve the What In the World puzzles for the warm up activity. During the afternoon students learned about the transportation system, forms of energy, friction, budgeting, construction, teamwork and designing a successful self-propelled vehicle which was tested at the end of the day.
