3rd Grade - Their vocabulary word was Sedulous which means industrious. The explorer was Harrison Ford who has his own "air force" and is a volunteer rescue pilot. These students also completed the Quotation Quizzler for the week. In Crystal Pond Woods, students continued developing their Divergent thinking skills learning about fluency, flexibility and originality. The Discoveries lesson had students defining, comparing and contrasting what is civilized and what is primitive. In the Relationship study, students explored more about what taxes pay for.
