4th Grade - Fleet was the vocabulary word for this particular group. It means a group of cars, boats, or other type of vessels. Their explorer was Frederick Douglass. Mr. Douglass learned to read while a slave and helped in getting the thirteenth amendment added to the U.S. Constitution. They completed the Surprise in the Middle drawing for the warm-up activity. The rest of the morning was spent building a creature from directions written by students at Russell Dougherty or Sunset Elementary School.
5th Grade -The Holiday parties shortened our time together so students spent today working to complete the first essays for the Exploravision project.
