Due to a meeting last Friday afternoon, there was no Enrichment and the 5th grade program canceled this morning's Enrichment class. The same material was covered for both classes.
3rd Grade - The vocabulary word was Opprobrious which means shameful, infamous. Clint Eastwood, who had been told by Universal Studios he couldn't act, was today's explorer. Students completed a logic elimination grid puzzle for their warm-up activity. We finished the Take Five program that had been teaching us about the characteristics of successful people. A few minutes was spent discovering the relationship between people and government. The final activity was a trip to Crystal Pond Woods where students completed manipulative logic puzzles.
