5th Grade - These students learned that Admonish means a mild cautionary rebuke or warning. Their thinker for today was Archimedes, the discoverer of water displacement. Students completed a Plexer puzzle for the warm up activity. As a class, students developed a Class Code of Conduct or rules they would follow during Enrichment this year. Dr. Rains is wanting to get to know her students better this year so students filled out a personality test and an interest survey. To get started thinking about thinkers, thoughts and thingamajigs, students took a pre-assessment. The final activity was a drawing activity from which they were given specific instructions yet allowed to develop the final product as they wished.
