Final Day
With the end of the school year quickly approaching, there are
only a few more Enrichment classes.
Since our theme this year has been “The Power of 1,” the final class
period will center on “What Can We do With 1?” Snacks and activities will
center on that idea. Students will be
allowed to bring a snack to share with the rest of their Enrichment group. Since our school system is promoting healthy
snacking, please encourage your student to look for snacks that include fruits,
nuts, whole grains, etc.
The last week of regularly scheduled Enrichment classes will be
May 12 through 15 for third through fifth grade. First and second grade
students will have their final class Monday, May 18.
For those student who will be moving as well as the 5th
graders, I wish you the very best and encourage you to continue searching for
challenging curriculum in whatever school you transfer to.
For the 1st through 4th graders, I look
forward to seeing you all again in September with a whole new set of exciting
challenges. Sounds like you will need an
inquiring mind as we advance “Full STEAM Ahead.”
Have a great summer!
Sincerely,
Marcia Rains, Enrichment
Specialist
