5th Grade - Their vocabulary word was Inception which means start or beginning. The thinker was Milton Hershey who struggled through several failures before developing the candy we know and love today. Students completed a Surprise in the Middle drawing for the warm up activity. For the social/emotional lesson, students continued to develop their listening skills which is necessary for being a good leader. The rest of class time was spent building Conestoga Wagons from given material. This was a project that had to be put aside until the Exploravision contest was finished.
