2nd Grade - We finished the learning styles inventory that was started. Each student discovered their preferred learning style. Next week we will see how that fits with future career choices.
4th Grade - Today's vocabulary word was unflappable which means someone who has a lot of self-control and is not easily upset or frightened. The thinker was Martha Graham who was a revolutionary in dance. Students drew a Surprise in the Middle drawing for the warm up activity. We received pictures and evaluations from the school that we traded robots. Time was taken to compare the photos and discuss the directions and how they could be improved. Our next unit of study is the Electric System. Students learned about amps, watts, and kilowatts today.
Welcome to Washington Irving's Enrichment blog. This blog was designed to keep parents updated as to the activities of students participating in the program.
