2nd Grade - In our study of patterns, students learned that all books have a beginning, middle and end. Fairy tales usually have something with threes or sevens. We then compared and contrasted a traditional Cinderella video with different Cinderella stories.
4th Grade - Due to collaboration time next Wednesday, these students had two vocabulary words: Expedition and Fauna-animals of a particular region. Their investigator was Frederick Douglass, a slave turned freeman. The warm-up activity was a logic elimination puzzle. The affective lesson focused on humor and the various aspects of successful people. The morning students were able to complete some electric circuit experiments. The final activity was to work on a timeline of the Lewis and Clark expedition.
