3rd Grade - Sojourn which means a short stay or brief residence was today's vocabulary word. Thomas Edison, who only had a few years of formal schooling, was the explorer. Students played 20 Questions for the warm-up activity. In Crystal Pond Woods, students had the opportunity to practice looking for visual clues. The Relationships lesson focused on the energy pyramid. The Discoveries lesson had students developing a billboard for the inventions they have researched.
