2nd Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Instill which means to put a feeling or idea in someone's mind slowly. Students had four explorers today; Zachary Taylor, Mallard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, and James Buchanan. Zachary Taylor was a very religious man and refused to be sworn in as President on Sunday. Therefore, the President Pro-Tem of the Senate became president for 24 hours until Mr. Taylor was sworn into office. Students completed a Plexer puzzler for their warm-up activity.
5th Grade - Due to a meeting Mrs. Rains has to attend, this class will come to Enrichment on Thursday.
