3rd Grade - The vocabulary word today was Spurious which means false, counterfeit. Today's explorer was Henry Ford who invented the assembly line because he thought his workers should be able to purchase cars too. Students completed a Quotation Quizzler for their warm-up activity. They completed the Visual Thinking study with Max's Fanciful Phrases which are common words or phrases put into pictures. Our next adventure in Crystal Pond Woods is Evaluative Thinking where students are developing observable, measurable, factual criteria to make decisions. We then had the opportunity to observe ice.
