3rd Grade - The vocabulary word of the day was Chaparral which means a thicket of shrubs and small trees. Alexander Graham Bell, who also invented the comic book, was today's explorer. They worked on a Stories with Holes problem for the warm-up activity. In Crystal Pond Woods, students have been developing their visual thinking skills. Today, they played Web Walkers as a method of enhancing that skill. The relationship lesson had students exploring various habits of animals.
