Enrichment classes were up and running today. Here are the highlights.
4th Grade (both classes): Today's vocabulary word was Confound which means to confuse or mix up. The individual who made a difference that we studied today was Bill Cosby. Mr. Cosby grew up poor, but when he became famous he gave to others so they could have a better life. Together the students created a code of conduct to follow while in Enrichment. Our theme this year is: The Power of One. We talked about different heroes. Each student then examined a time when they were a hero. Another topic we will be studying is Explorations. Today, students took a pretest to demonstrate what they currently know about the topic.
Welcome to Washington Irving's Enrichment blog. This blog was designed to keep parents updated as to the activities of students participating in the program.
