4th Grade - Today, students learned that Gloat means people who gloat are happy about other people's failure. The explorer was Walt Disney who believed in himself when other people said it wouldn't work. Students completed a logic elimination puzzle for the warm up activity. In order to prepare for the construction of the robots, students completed a See, Run, Do poster where they couldn't see the finished product as they worked. After the activity we discussed their frustrations with the project and how that information could help us as we write the directions for the robots. The final activity was to construct the robots.
