5th Grade - Today's learning began with Occlude which means obstruct/block. The successful person was Percy L. Spencer who accidentally invented the microwave oven. For the warm up activity, students were to draw around their initials until they "disappeared." Clear communication was the focus of the leadership lesson. During the Explorations segment, students started programming their robots in order to complete a mission in orbit.
