3rd Grade - The vocabulary word for today was Spurious which means false or counterfeit. The investigator was Henry Ford, who invented the assembly line, not the automobile. A Quotation Quizzler was the warm-up activity. For evaluative thinking in Crystal Pond Woods, students had to evaluate potato chips according to their own criteria. While eating their potato chips, they watched a video about ants who are social insects. In our relationship study, we looked at number and word patterns. Our Entomology study focused on social insects and how they communicate.
