2nd Grade - Our pattern study found patterns in clothing. Not just in the design, but how materials are made, how material is made into cloth and how clothes are put together.

4th Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Paunch which means the belly, especially a potbelly or the first stomach of a ruminant. Their investigator was the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who led the civil rights movement of the 1960s. The warm-up activity was a logic elimination puzzle. Students completed some math problems converting watts to amps or kilowatts. They finished the day by completing some projects for the Lewis and Clark study.
