3rd Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Diaphanous which means translucent/transparent. Our explorer was Tom Cruise who overcame a reading problem to become a movie star. Students completed a Quotation Quizzler for the warm up activity. They finished logic elimination puzzles created by Dudley the Detective. We compared the potato that had soaked in salt water to the one that had soaked in fresh water. Either way, they both made a horrible smell. The final activity was to research a Polynesian Island.
