After listening to the book Hooray for Diffendoofer Day by Dr. Suess, students wrote their own lesson plans for a class of their choice. We concluded the Language System study by writing how we think the alphabet came to be based on the evidence presented.
5th Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Acclaim which means enthusiastic public praise and approval. The explorer was Horace Wells who discovered laughing gas as a pan killer.
