2nd Grade - Due to a special Fan Fare this morning, This class was canceled.
4th Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Famine which means a drastic, wide-reaching shortage of food. Yo-yo Ma, the world famous cellist, was today's explorer. Students discovered the Mystery Object for the warm-up activity. They reviewed the results of the learning styles inventory they took last week. The final activity was to explore simple machines and build them with Lego.
5th Grade - Their vocabulary word was Abound which means very numerous. The explorer was Andre Garnerin. Students demonstrated their creative thinking skills by drawing an escape proof prison. They also discovered the Mystery Object for the warm-up activity. Students created a space suit and built bridges as their final activities for the Structures study.
