Final Enrichment Days Approaching

With the end of the school year quickly approaching, there are only a few more Enrichment classes left.  Since our theme this year has been “Honoring the Past ~ Challenging the Future,” the final class period will center on that theme with snacks and activities from our past.  Students will need to research a snack from the past. It may be a favorite family snack or treat. Since our school system is promoting healthy snacking, please encourage your student to look for snacks that include fruits, nuts, whole grains, etc.

Due to the many activities surrounding the Fifth Grade Farewell and Super Kids Day. The final day for Thursday classes will be Thursday, May 9 (this coming week). May 13th - 17th will be the final week of Enrichment classes for this school year.

For those students who will be moving as well as the 5th graders, I wish you the very best and encourage you to continue searching for challenging curriculum in whatever school you transfer to.

For the 1st through 4th graders, I look forward to seeing you all again in September with a whole new set of exciting challenges.  We are planning something really WONDERful for next year.

Please check out my blog for summer opportunities as well as computer activities at: http://wienrichment.blogspot.com

Have a great summer!
