5th Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Rapacious which means raptor-like, preying on others. The ponderer was Ada Lovelace who wrote a computer program in 1843. Students completed a logic elimination puzzle for the warm-up activity. The affective lesson had students designing caps and t-shirts that represented various aspects of their lives. A couple of students presented their Wonder of the World project. The rest of the afternoon was spent completing the history of items that will make up their project for ExploraVision.
