2nd Grade - This class learned that Front is a transition between two different air masses. Their thinker was Thomas Jefferson who actually kept a couple of grizzly bears on the White House lawn. We started working on a Plexer puzzle for the warm up activity. Tomorrow we will work together to finish it.

5th Grade - Today students learned that Solicitous means attentive, concerned. Luther Burbank, the plant doctor and today's thinker, had 3,000 experiments going at one time. Students were challenged to solve the What in the World puzzle for the warm up activity. The focus of the affective lesson was getting kids to focus on their own potential to become a leader. A survey of the gifted and talented program was then completed. Finally, students worked some more on their Bridge Across America projects.
