2nd Grade - Today we learned that Meteorology means the study of the atmospheric conditions and weather of an ares. Their thinker was Molly Pitcher who bravely took water to soldiers on the battlefield during the Revolutionary War.
5th Grade - These students learned that Pejorative means disparaging (negative/discouraging). Their thinker was Levi Strauss who invented blue jeans because he couldn't sell his bolts of canvas. Students worked together to solve the Quotation Quizzler for the warm up activity. The affective lesson playing a game called Linked. This was followed by some discussion regarding leadership. The final activity was to have students continue to work on their Bridge Across America project.
