4th Grade - Today's word was Guerrillas which means members of an irregular military force operating in small bands behind enemy lines. Our hero was Jane Addams. She was one of the first American women to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for her humanitarian work. The warm-up activity was a Loosen Up drawing. 5th Grade - The fifth grade vocabulary word was Outfox which means to outwit; to overcome by cunning or cleverness.
