3rd Grade - Pugnacious, which means quarrelsome, was today's vocabulary word. Dr. Seuss, who had been turned down by twenty-seven publishers, was the explorer. Students completed a Quotation Quizzler for the warm-up activity. Creativity was the focus of the affective thinking lesson. Dudley the Detective taught us how to complete logic elimination puzzles during our trip to Crystal Pond Woods. The Discovery lesson focused on hurricanes.
