Enrichment Classes Begin!
2nd Grade - We started learning about procedures in Enrichment today. The vocabulary word of the day was Confound which means to confuse or mix someone up. They then developed a class "Code of Conduct" or rules to follow while in Enrichment.
4th Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Abduct which means to kidnap or carry off by force. Their explorer was Bill Cosby. Not only is Dr. Cosby a famous actor, he also devotes time to helping poor children and writing TV shows. The warm-up activity was a Stories with Holes problem. These students also developed a class "Code of Conduct". They were given a pre-assessment on Explorations. The final activities centered around quilts and getting to know each other.
