Happy New Year and Welcome Back! I hope you all had an enjoyable restful Winter Break.
5th Grade - The vocabulary word for today was Modicum which means a moderate amount. Today's ponderer was Conrad Hubert who invented the flashlight and started the Everyready Battery Company. Students completed a Surprise in the Middle drawing for the warm up activity. Determining right or wrong was the focus of today's affective lesson. The rest of afternoon was spent finishing the first essays for the ExploraVision contest.
