4th Grade - Today's vocabulary word was Pulchritude which means beauty. The ponderer was Thomas Alva Edison who took out 1,093 patents during his lifetime.Students figured out the items in the What In the World puzzle for the warm-up activity. Brochures for the planet Velzar were completed followed by creating a "See, Run, Do" poster. While developing that poster, students learned the importance of asking the right questions and making sure they are interpreting directions correctly. Then we began making our cooperative creatures.

5th Grade - Gregarious, today's vocabulary word, means sociable. Benjamin Franklin, who only had two years of formal schooling was today's ponderer. Students figured out the items in the What In the World puzzle for the warm-up activity. Truth or Consequences was the focus of today's affective lesson. The rest of the afternoon was spent working on essays for the ExploraVision contest.
