1st Grade - William Howard Taft, today'x explorer was the largest President of the United States. Most of our time together was spent working through a logic elimination problem. Together we were successful in solving the puzzle. The final activity was to spend some more time comparing and contrasting common items.

2nd Grade - Second graders learned that a Fossil is something preserved from a past geologic age. There were two explorers today: John Tyler was known as "His Accedence", and James Knox Polk was known as the first "dark horse" President. Together they solved the Quizzles puzzle that was the warm up activity. Students partnered together to play the Dot Game in Crystal Pond Woods. This activity required students to visually use what they saw as clues and to mentally move shapes around.
