1st Grade - These students learned that today's explorer, Woodrow Wilson, had a stroke when he was President and his wife was called the first Woman President. Students created loopy elephants for today's warm up activity. In Crystal Pond Woods, students had another opportunity to analyze, sort, and classify items.

2nd Grade - Today learning began with a new vocabulary word-Inference which means the act or process of reaching a conclusion about something from known facts or evidence. Frank Thompson, today's explorer, was really a woman (Sarah Edmond) who wanted to fight in the Civil war so disguised herself as a man. The affective lesson focused on the qualities of friendships. Be began studying evaluative thinking in Crystal Ponds. In particular, students began developing criteria to help eliminate possible solutions.
