4th Grade - Today, we learned that Demeanor means someone's behavior toward others. The explorer, Jackie Joyner-Kersee overcame many obstacles to become an olympic champion. After learning the meaning of The Pledge of Allegiance, students wrote promises they could keep to other people. The rest of the class time focused on hunger and how to solve the American hunger problem.
